Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF) repatriates 11 fishermen from North Sumatra kings Malaysian police arrested a few months ago in the waters of the Strait of Malacca.
The 11 fishermen are Saan bin Rush, Alwatan bin Baidi, Lukman bin harun, and Amir bin Rusli Coast fishermen from Pumpkin, Deli Serdang, who was arrested August 23, 2011.
While the origin of fishermen Amrianto Medang Running, Coal District was arrested on October 6, 2011. While Iwan, Ilham, Dhaam, Riduan, Sholil, and Budiono, fishermen arrested origin Medang Running 3 November 2011.
This was conveyed by the Director General of Marine Resources and Fisheries Syahrin Abdulrahman, on arrival at Polonia International Airport with the fishermen, Thursday (01/26/2012).
"Repatriation is thanks to the government's negotiations with Malaysia, although there are still some who are still detained by them," said Syahrin.
