Police are yet to know what the motive behind the shooting that killed three people on New Year's Eve in Gampong Blang Cot Tunong, District Jeumpa.
Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Bireun Yuri Karsono said the team was working in the field to gather information and identify who the perpetrators of these violent shootings.
"Already we form a team and have started working," he said when contacted Legal, Sunday (01/01/2012).
In addition to gathering evidence, police until now have examined 30 people from 47 witnesses that have been recorded.
"From the statements of witnesses until now has not lead, no one we suspect," said Yuri.
Seven key witnesses that the shooting victims can not be questioned because it is still in the process of intensive care. One of them namely Hasan to this day is still critical, while six others began to improve.
Yuri said the witness said he did not receive the kind of threat or terror of certain parties before the incident. Police seized evidence from the scene of which 10 grains bullet shell casings and three active.
